Strong race for Stratia at Monza

At the legendary Autodromo di Monza, the weekend did not get off to the best possible start, however. A number of technical issues during Friday's practice sessions disrupted the team's preparation programme, forcing the crew to adapt its approach. Thanks to the outstanding efforts of the mechanics and engineers, Stratia Motorsport successfully resolved the problems and had the car ready to fight for qualifying and the race.
On Sunday, the three drivers executed their race perfectly, completing consistent stints without making a single mistake while producing a series of overtaking manoeuvres to steadily climb through the order. The team's strategy even put the crew in contention for a podium finish in the AM class.
Unfortunately, a longer-than-expected pit stop proved costly. Around 40 seconds were lost during the stop, dropping the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo down the order and forcing the drivers into a determined recovery drive.
Thanks to excellent pace and impressive determination, Colin Caresani, Sacha Lehmann and Florian Scholze fought their way back to finish fourth in the AM class, a result that reflects the team's continued progress despite the setback.
After the race, Stratia Motorsport Team Principal Antoine Bottiroli reflected positively on the weekend:
"Despite a rather difficult Friday from a technical point of view, we managed to turn things around over the weekend and achieve a race result that I am truly satisfied with, considering the circumstances we faced. I am even more pleased because all three of my drivers delivered flawless performances on Sunday, making no mistakes while completing numerous overtakes to move us up the order. Colin, who had just joined the team, integrated perfectly and I am delighted to have him with us. I really appreciate how well-balanced our driver line-up is, and I can't wait to continue building on this work together."
