The third round of the Italian GT Sprint Championship at the iconic Mugello Circuit marked another important step forward for Stratia Motorsport. After an encouraging weekend, Alexey Denisov and Giuseppe "Beppe" Fascicolo secured two fifth-place finishes in the AM class, highlighting the steady progress made by the Swiss team.

Following positive testing in the lead-up to the event, the No. 16 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo proved to be highly competitive throughout the weekend. The setup work carried out over recent weeks paid off, giving both drivers a well-balanced, consistent and competitive car capable of fighting at the front of the AM field.

More importantly than the results themselves, the overall performance demonstrated how much progress has been made. Alexey Denisov continues to build confidence with every race, while Giuseppe Fascicolo once again showed his valuable experience in the Italian GT Championship. Together, the pairing delivered their strongest weekend of the season so far.

Another major positive was the reliability of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo. After a challenging start to the season, the car ran flawlessly throughout both races, allowing the team to focus entirely on performance without any technical issues during both races.

Race 2 could have produced an even stronger result. Early in his stint, Giuseppe Fascicolo ran off the circuit, costing the team valuable time. Fortunately, the car suffered no big damage and was able to continue. Alexey Denisov then delivered a very strong and consistent second stint, recovering well and bringing the car home for another fifth-place finish in the AM class.

For Stratia Motorsport, the Mugello weekend represents the team's most complete Sprint performance of the season so far. With improved pace, flawless reliability and growing confidence from both drivers, the Swiss outfit heads into the next rounds determined to continue its upward trajectory and fight for even stronger results.

After this third round, the Stratia boys currently occupie eighth place in the championship standings with 34 points.
