Stratia gets ready for Mugello

The Italian GT Sprint Championship heads to the iconic Mugello Circuit this week for its third round of the 2026 season, where Russian driver Alexey Denisov and Italian teammate Giuseppe Fascicolo will be looking to build momentum and climb the championship standings.
Sharing the wheel of their Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, the duo arrives in Tuscany with 18 championship points after the opening two rounds. While the season has offered encouraging performances, both drivers know there is still plenty to play for as the battle intensifies in one of Europe's most competitive GT championships.
Confidence is running high within the team following two productive days of testing at Mugello. The sessions allowed Denisov and Fascicolo to fine-tune the car's setup and gain valuable data on the demanding 5.2-kilometre circuit, renowned for its flowing high-speed corners and technical sections.
With positive feedback from both drivers and promising pace shown throughout the tests, the objective for the weekend is clear: convert the preparation into strong qualifying performances and consistent race results to move further up the championship order.
Mugello has often delivered spectacular GT racing, and Denisov and Fascicolo are determined to make the most of the opportunity. Encouraged by recent progress, the pair heads into the third round motivated to fight at the front and continue their championship campaign on an upward trajectory.
