On April 15 and 16, 2026, Stratia Motorsport will put six drivers behind the wheel of its Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo during two days of testing scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday next week at the Italian circuit of Misano.

Sacha Lehmann, Arno Santamato, Jannes Fittje, Antoine Bottiroli, Florian Scholze and Giuseppe Fascicolo will take turns in the cockpit of the German car throughout the two-day private test sessions. Sacha Lehmann and Arno Santamato, who will officially form the team’s Endurance crew, will particularly make the most of the first day of testing to prepare for the start of the Italian Endurance Championship 2026. These two days of running will allow them to fine-tune their partnership, optimise the setup of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo and consolidate the team’s procedures ahead of the long-distance races. A third driver will complete this Endurance lineup and is expected to be selected at the end of these tests.

The weather is forecast to be unstable on Wednesday, which could complicate the teams’ work but also provide varied conditions, particularly useful for testing the car in changing situations. By accumulating valuable mileage and data on Misano’s technical layout, Stratia Motorsport hopes to better understand the potential of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo and identify the driver who will strengthen the Endurance crew. The team management is confident about these two days of work, which should deliver important insights into the car’s competitiveness ahead of the official start of the season.
