Stratia Motorsport: A New Ambitious Racing Team Takes Flight

Geneva, September 2, 2025 – The motorsport world welcomes a new high-profile project with the creation of Stratia Motorsport, founded by Antoine Bottiroli and Thomas Fässler. Beginning in 2026, the team will compete with a Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo in both the Italian GT Sprint and Endurance championships.

Passionate and Complementary Founders

With over 20 years of experience in motorsport, highlighted by a remarkable 7th place finish at the Shifter Rok World Cup in 2016 and runner-up titles in both the Swiss and Italian Formula 3 (F2000) Championships, Antoine Bottiroli embodies the expertise and discipline essential to building a professional racing team. From his early days in karting to his achievements in Formula 3, and later his transition into the demanding world of GT racing, Bottiroli has forged a career rich in learning and results. A seasoned and resilient driver, he now brings his expertise to an ambitious project that goes beyond the role of a driver.

Alongside him, Thomas Fässler contributes another dimension of passion for motorsport. An enthusiast of speed and racetracks, he has practiced motorcycle riding on track as an amateur, refining his precision and performance instincts. His energy, vision, and commitment are a driving force behind Stratia Motorsport.

To ensure immediate competitiveness, Stratia Motorsport will benefit from the expertise of Antonelli Motorsport, the prestigious team led by Marco Antonelli and a benchmark in both GT and single-seater racing in Italy. This strategic partnership guarantees high-level technical support to maximize the potential of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo, one of the most competitive GT cars of its generation.

By entering both the Italian GT Sprint and GT Endurance championships in 2026, Stratia Motorsport is making its ambitions clear: to perform from the very beginning and to build a long-lasting structure. The team’s goal is to establish itself as a solid contender, capable of competing with the best and becoming a reference in the GT world.
